Buddler Joe is a free to play multiplayer action game.
Imagine a cross-over between Minecraft and Mariocart.

With Java installed

Download Game as .jar (~32 MB)

Runs on Windows and Linux. Java 11+ has to be installed and configured.
Start the game and enter "game.buddlerjoe.ch" as the IP to connect to or specify "client game.buddlerjoe.ch" as commandline parameters.
To host your own server start the jar with "server" as a commandline parameter.

Without Java installed

Download Game as .exe (~205 MB)

Requires Windows to run, no installer! Extract the zip, run buddlerjoe.exe and play on our server!
To host your own server, install Java 11+ and get the .jar file above.

About Us

We are a team of five students at University of Basel, Switzerland and created Buddlerjoe as a study project in early 2019. The game is written in Java with LWJGL. Buddler Joe is licensed under GPL 3.0.
